Ascending will Power PHN’s Learning Hub with its Innovative Learning Intelligence Platform

Melbourne, Australia, 4 December, 2017 – Ascending, a leader in learning intelligence solutions, today announced it is partnering with Western Victoria Primary Health Network (PHN) to provide an intelligent learning platform that allows truly flexible learning and measurable insights to its members. About 4,000 General Practitioners, Primary Care Nurses, Practice Managers, Practice Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and other health professionals will have access to live and on-demand learning via the PHN Learning Hub.

“Our learning intelligence platform provides Western Victoria PHN learners limitless learning in any way, time and place, to maximise learning opportunities during their busy schedules,” said Dr Pramodh Nathaniel, founder and Managing Director of Ascending. “We’re proud to partner with Western Victoria PHN to offer a platform for medical and health professionals to master unique knowledge and skills to better serve our communities.”

Clinician’s Matrix, Ascending’s healthcare-focused learning platform, will give Western Victoria PHN the ability to create, curate, engage, measure, and certify learning, in a flexible and easily scalable approach. Western Victoria PHN will be able to track and report on individual, group and organisation-wide progress and completion with every learning asset and activity, allowing for valuable learning intelligence that identifies skill gaps and supports their members’ business strategy and planning.

“Western Victoria PHN’s Learning Hub allows health professionals to learn, develop and update their knowledge and skills in an efficient and cost effective way, regardless of their location, extending the reach and accessibility of education for health professionals across the western Victoria region,” said Dr Leanne Beagley, CEO of Western Victoria PHN. “We selected Ascending as a key learning partner after a rigorous evaluation process and have been impressed by their track record, the team’s meticulous understanding of our needs, and tailoring the platform as a comprehensive solution to our specific requirements.”

Western Victoria PHN’s health professionals will have access to a range of continuing professional development (CPD) learning options such as online courses, webinars, eLearning programs, and live online health-related conferences, as well as guidelines and decision support tools making the PHN Learning Hub the ‘central hub’ for educational resources. All features are optimised for mobile devices ensuring users can access the PHN Learning Hub at anytime from anywhere.
