THE CHALLENGE
Provide an education platform that empower Australian medical professionals to practice with confidence by providing an informative, accessible, online risk-based educational resource.
THE SOLUTION
We worked with AMI to develop a custom themed open source Learning Management System (LMS) including a custom course catalogue. The solution also helped AMI’s members identify, manage and reduce medico-legal risk across specialties. Key components of the solution included:
- A custom-built interface between the LMS to the AMI member database.
- Development of custom web services, reporting, single sign-on, integration with AMI’s existing user portals, and integration with third-party providers.
- Implementation of more than 60 courses with rich jQuery-based video and interactions to ensure simple access across a multitude of browsers.
- Access to third-party subscription service with linkage back to the member database for seamless authentication.
- Access to a second-level Helpdesk function.
